RESIDENT SERVICE PROGRAMS
Resident Services Programs (RSP) operate in HACoLA’s housing developments with a concentration in four major family developments: Nueva Maravilla, Carmelitos, Harbor Hills, and South Scattered Sites. Its mission is to assist with self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for over 6,000 children, families, seniors and persons with disabilities living in the public communities through the delivery of quality programs and services.
Its core program areas include: after-school programs, workforce development and adult literacy, senior/disabled services and case management. After-school programs provide a supportive environment to assist at-risk you attain their educational goals through a combination of educational and recreational curriculum while building self-esteem and positive social interaction. Workforce development and adult literacy are provided through collaborative partnerships to empower residents towards self-sufficency while senior/disabled services support residents’ ability to age in place with a better quality of life.
