DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE (DPA)
The Down Payment Assistance (DPA) provides down payment and/or closing costs assistance to low-income households. The maximum DPA loan is 6% of the purchase price, or $10,000, whichever is lesser.
The DPA loan is included with the HOP loan as one 2nd Trust Deed loan at 0% interest with all payments deferred until sale, transfer, refinancing, or full repayment of the first mortgage.
The County's DPA program is available for existing and new construction properties. At this time all funds have been committed until further notice.
