To be successful, economic development begins as a collaborative planning effort with local community residents, property owners and businesspersons, and evolves into economic development programs coordinated with other County departments that lead to sustained improvement to eligible communities.
Our economic development programs encourage business investment, retain and increase jobs, remove blighting conditions, and provide goods and services to local communities. I am hopeful that our Website conveys the resources available to the public and the commitment our employees have to improve the County unincorporated areas through economic development.
