NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION AREAS
The Community Development Commission (CDC) supports neighborhood revitalization by working with residents and business owners in target areas of the County. Economic development tools, such as the Community Business Revitalization (CBR) Program, provide financial and technical assistance to support business tenants and property owners.
The CBR Program seeks to help beautify business districts making them more inviting for shoppers and a source of community pride. The CBR Program provides financial and technical assistance to business tenants and property owners. Eligible improvements are the correction of code violations and improvements made to the exterior of the commercial building, including, but not limited to, paint, signage, windows, doors, awnings, stucco, roof, lighting, and security grills. Also, the Program assists businesses with design, construction, and inspection services.
The business location and need for rehabilitation must be verified to establish eligibility.
For other resources to address neighborhood revitalization, please see the Countywide Section 108 Loan Program and other Business Loans.
