Assisted Housing programs such as Section 8 help make decent rental housing in the private market affordable for low-income families. The Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles provides rental assistance to more than 20,000 low-income families in Los Angeles County.
We would like to give a special thank you to the over 10,000 owners who participate in the Section 8 program. Your participation gives families a stable foundation toward self sufficiency.
